Patti Wojcikowski's influence on the Trustees Association will be felt for years to come.

A former ICCTA secretary and treasurer, she served on the association's Executive Committee for nearly half of her 12-year tenure as a trustee. She also served as chair of ICCTA's South Suburban Region for two years and as a member of the 2004 Executive Director Search Committee.

As a member of the Association of Community College Trustees' Nominating Committee, she encouraged aspiring leaders to seek higher office at the national level.

Most recently, she spurred the creation of ICCTA's new Women in Leadership Committee, which encourages female trustees to take active roles at the local and state levels.

"No one person or one college is bigger than the organization," says Wojcikowski. "When we work together as a team, great things happen."
